About the yaw Angle bouncing back to 0 degrees

Dear, I set NacYaw in ElastoDyn to the same Angle as YawNeut in ServoDyn, but the calculation starts bouncing back to 0 degrees. How should I solve this problem? 1699693430775

Dear @May0048,

Have you enabled active nacelle-yaw control or defined an override yaw maneuver in ServoDyn that would overwrite the value of YawNeut?

Best regards,

Dear @jjonkman I set static yaw angle within the ElastoDyn input, and YCMode is turned off at ServoDyn. The calculation starts still bouncing back to 0 degrees.

Best regards,

Dear @May0048,

When you change YawNeut in ServoDyn to match NacYaw in ElastoDyn, did you save your changes? Is ServoDyn enabled?

Best regards,

My ElastoDyn and ServoDyn file Settings are as follows 1700019480303 1700019442254

Dear @May0048,

Your input file is not consistent with the behavior you are describing. It appears that you have the nacelle-yaw degree of freedom disabled in ElastoDyn (YawDOF = FALSE), in which case the nacelle-yaw angle should remain fixed at the 10-degrees initial condition you have set throughout the entire simulation.

Best regards,
