I see that this might simplify the process and I am aware that the real name and handle are published in the oeo. Anyway, asking to post the real name in a github issue seems not the right approach to me.

Anyway, asking to post the real name in a github issue seems not the right approach to me.

If you don't want to do this, then you are still free to use the normal way of adding yourself. In the end, the real names will be linked to your GitHub handle anyway as we need this for both the oeo.omn and the CITATION.cff files.

EDIT: Maybe we need a privacy policy statement (Datenschutzerklärung) for the contribution to the OEO.

Thanks for providing a working issue template. I updated the title a bit and changed the label.

I reset this issue back to draft. We still have no consensus whether we want to have such a template. I just already implemented it so that we have something to discuss on.
