Quantitists, qualitists and apinists
Description of the issue
We often distinguish between three OEP user types: Quantitists, qualitists and apinists. Do we want to include them in the OEO?
Ideas of solution
Maybe add something like an OEP user
role and subclasses for the three mentioned roles.
Workflow checklist
- [ ] I discussed the issue with someone else than me before working on a solution
- [ ] I already read the latest version of the workflow for this repository
- [ ] The goal of this ontology is clear to me
I am aware that
- [ ] every entry in the ontology should have a definition
- [ ] classes should arise from concepts rather than from words
First proposals:
-
OEP user
: An OEP user is a user that interacts with the Open Energy Platform. -
qualitist
: A qualitist is an OEP user that mainly interacts with qualitive information. -
quantitist
: A qualitist is an OEP user that mainly interacts with quantitive information. -
apinist
: An apinist is an OEP user that mainly interacts via an API.
I think this is a good idea and it depicts how we thought about different user groups and their needs. And I think the first proposals read good.
No further comments for almost two weeks, so I will implement as proposed.
