Infinite redirect loop when clicking edit and not logging in

Steps to Reproduce

1. log out
2. Go to an area like squamish
3. Click on the edit toggle and then go back
4. You'll enter an infinite redirect loop were you can't view the page because you need to log in.

Expected Behavior

I would expect the edit toggle to just go back to "off" if I'm not logged in.

I get thrown back to the login page

Hi @brleinad, is this your first time logging in? If so new user signup is temporarily disabled (more info https://github.com/OpenBeta/open-tacos/issues/830)

@vnugent I haven't logged in. As an unauthenticated user I see the edit toggle.

I can confirm that it appears to impossible to leave edit mode while not logged in. All area and climb pages opened in the same tab redirect to the log in page. A new tab is fine.
