PR checklist
- [x] Read the contribution guidelines.
- [x] Pull Request title clearly describes the work in the pull request and Pull Request description provides details about how to validate the work. Missing information here may result in delayed response from the community.
- [x] Run the following to build the project and update samples:
Commit all changed files. This is important, as CI jobs will verify all generator outputs of your HEAD commit as it would merge with master. These must match the expectations made by your contribution. You may regenerate an individual generator by passing the relevant config(s) as an argument to the script, for example./mvnw clean package ./bin/generate-samples.sh ./bin/utils/export_docs_generators.sh./bin/generate-samples.sh bin/configs/java*. For Windows users, please run the script in Git BASH. - [x] File the PR against the correct branch:
master(6.1.0) (minor release - breaking changes with fallbacks),7.0.x(breaking changes without fallbacks) - [x] If your PR is targeting a particular programming language, @mention the technical committee members, so they are more likely to review the pull request.
Here is an example of the error
Exception: Unbalanced '{' - missing '}' at
'[0-9]{7'
^
at org.openapitools.codegen.DefaultGenerator.processOperation(DefaultGenerator.java:1187)
at org.openapitools.codegen.DefaultGenerator.processPaths(DefaultGenerator.java:1081)
The code portion that is probably causing the error:
isrc:
type: string
pattern: '[a-zA-Z0-9]{5}[0-9]{7}'
maxLength: 255
Any updates on this? @wingyplus
Could we please have an update on this? The generator is currently unusable and has been for at least the last three months (since I first reported the issue). @wingyplus @macjohnny
Seems the author does not respond.
Are you able to create a PR yourself, @zodiia ? If not, I could probably do it.
Imho we should get rid of the option to have / delimiters in the patterns as it is non-standard.

I'm taking a look at this, I will keep you updated ASAP.
@bodograumann I just opened a new PR. This one should probably be closed.
@zodiia I ran into the same issue and gave up on this client. Instead I'm using python-prior which works fine.
Closing in favor of https://github.com/OpenAPITools/openapi-generator/pull/14180
