Documentation. Everywhere.

I know everybody wants it, but nobody has time for it. With this issue, we will add documentation to ALL currently supported functions - and also add Doxygen support (including to the workflows) to catch any undocumented function down the road and prevent their check-in.

It will be hard.

There will be sweat and tears - but it is finally time...
