Feature request: Button to synchronize all open top/side view windows to the same date/time and/or altitudes
During the ASCCI campaign several flight planning members had an issue to look at different opened top or side views on different times, while they wanted to look at different quantities but for the same times.
Our idea is to add a checkbox to synchronize date/time for all open plotting windows.
A similar idea would be to add an option for the top views to synchronize the levels shown for the different opened windows.

@soerenjoh If a student is interested in this topic, would you have the possibility to serve as a co-mentor and supervise the student? Or do you know someone of the ASCCI community ?
I am really not into the MSS code, I am rather an educated user ;-) I could comment on the results, but helping to implement the feature would be rather difficult for me....

That would also be a great help to consider an implementation from the user's perspective. We will get back to you if necessary.
A different approach to synchronize is using a shared mssautoplot.json file. By this you can do something like this. On the left side I have not used a time selection, operation or flighttrack but this is also possible.
