review for status codes

we have on some places res.text != "False" we have to check also for the status_code.

@annapurna-gupta I expect that this is a large refactoring. That's the reason why I move it from major to major. It is likly not an easy task and needs also better test coverage. So adding missing tests is a start for this.

I would prefer you finish the smaller task with the fullname first.
