Here is one epub.

I have tested other epubs and everyone has that issue.

Use it on Google Nexus 4 with 4.4.2 But same on a Samsung S3

Having the same issue here:

load an epub
read a chapter
chapter finishes so title and chapter are displayed.
chapter starts again. But chapter number has increased
