Wrong MAC address

I could not get my Onion Omega2 connecting to my Wifi anymore after activating MAC filtering on my WiFi gateway. I set Authorized MAC 40:A3:6B... as written on the Omega2 box. The product label is barelly readable anymore, probably due to heat discoloring the marking but I am pretty sure 40:A3:6B... is what was written on the product.

The MAC I get on the router is 42:A3:6B... and adding this address to the list of authorized MAC is fixing the issue. So what is wrong, the marking or the product MAC in factory "PROM"? Shall I correct this MAC? Maybe someone else had the same issue...

I cannot find any manufacturer registered with IEEE either with 40:A3:6B or 42:A3:6B. Would this be another thing wrong? I always considered MAC was a unique address insured by the product manufacturer.
