Option to hide images in subfolders

Open manatails opened this issue 6 months ago • 2 comments

When a folder is selected, OneFolder by default seems to display all images including those in subfolders using "Path Starts With..."

I think it would be convenient to have a little checkbox on the toolbar that you can tick to quickly enable/disable displaying of elements within subfolders. I tried changing the search option to "Path Equals" but it didn't work (I assume 'Path' includes filenames). Perhaps adding a 'Directory' element in the query editor could be useful as well.

Such improvements will make it easier to find unclassified images.

You mean this in the search, not in the import of a location, right? e.g. you have the images loaded in OneFolder and you want to filter the ones that are displayed to make a more sophisticated search

Correct me if I'm wrong

Yes, that's right.

  • 'Show elements in subfolders' checkbox to quickly toggle between two viewing options - both modes have their advantages.
  • 'Directory' field in the query editor for users who need more advanced search capabilities regardless of the filename.
