Offline support: arrival times based on schedule

I'd like to see offline support added to the iOS application where it has a copy of the schedule saved locally. Such a feature would allow a user to view their scheduled vehicle arrival time even if they are offline (e.g. in a tunnel).

me too. it's a shockingly large amount of engineering work, but I'd love to get there some day.

On a related note the Seattle tunnels may be getting cell service but I still think offline support should be added for other non-covered areas and as a backup for server downtime.

It's much more feasible if the schedule cache is only filled for a user's bookmarked routes. And related to OneBusAway/onebusaway-iphone#686, perhaps a better affordance for presenting scheduled* arr/dep times would make offline schedules more obvious and usable.
