Start with map view with routes and vehicles visible?

Would it make sense to allow in options to start the app by default showing all / selected routes already on the map as well as vehicles ? When the app is started now (android and iOS) it might look like it's not working as one needs to zoom in to show stop, then select an arrival and then choose map to obtain the view of route and vehicles location.

When the app is launched, the multitude of green points displayed can be somewhat overwhelming and cluttered. To enhance user experience, consider implementing an animation that, upon opening the map, automatically zooms in on the user's location and displays the surrounding bus routes.
