Search isn't working, always showing spinning circle

Open ben63vw opened this issue 1 year ago • 6 comments

Summary

This morning one of my users contacted me that they couldn't search for anything. I took a look and was getting the same issue... Discover page wasn't loading any shows/movies in any sections and when trying to search for something it just showed the spinning circle without ever showing results. I have done the following without any luck getting it working again:

  • restated Ombi
  • restarted Qnap that's running Ombi
  • restarted router
  • deleted OmbiExternal.db followed by restarting Ombi... I saw that this resolved the issue when it occurred in 2021 https://github.com/Ombi-app/Ombi/issues/4111

All other pages load or open correct web link and all other apps (Sonarr, Radarr, NZBGet, Plex, Tautulli) that are running on my Qnap.

Ombi Version

4.43.5

It looks like your system is timing out when trying to communicate with TheMoviedb. Can you check that your machine can access their API? On 22 Oct 2023 at 10:02 PM +0100, ben63vw @.***>, wrote:

Thanks for the reply. I'm not exactly sure how I can check that my Qnap can access TMDB api.

But when I have my the agent for my movies in Plex Media Server set to use TMDB and rescan that libraries metadata it does it without issues. Also, when it's set that way and I add a new movie it get the correct metadata as well. Not sure if that's enough to verify that my Qnap can access TBDB via their api.

@tidusjar still not sure how to verify my Qnap can access TMDB api. I just updated to version 4.43.6 and I still have this issue.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me get this working again.

Experiencing similar issues. The content is eventually loaded, but that can take over a minute.

Also, when requesting content the status doesn't get updated immediately (also takes about a minute).

Here is my log from today: log20231107.txt
