what node version, etc. is used for development?

Hello i was going to try working on this plugin to make a PR potentially and was having several issues. Can you confirm what node version etc. is used to develop this? I was following the info in development.md & the github workflow file but it didn't specify and as this is a plugin from someone else from several years ago I imagine it is a much older version set.
