Unable to install on latest OctoPrint

Open crysxd opened this issue 1 year ago • 4 comments

Describe the bug I'm unable to install this plugin on the latest OctoPrint 1.10, there are no errors in the logs but after the installation the plugin doesn't show up and OctoPrint says "Installed: Unknown"

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install plugin from plugin manager

Expected behavior Installation works

Did the same happen when all other 3rd party plugins are disabled? n.a.

Log file n.a.

Screenshots n.a.

No matter what I tried, it just would not appear. It downloads it, installs it, restarts - and no plugin. Nothing. I used all link to download this plugin, as I used it before. After Updating to latest Octoprint, nothing fixes it. Before the update there was never an issue with this Plugin, was one of my favorite ones. I am running Octoprint 1.11.3. I Updated to this like 2 or 3 month ago. Is there a solution to get this plugin after all? Thank you

I have the similar issue Filament manager was able to work before update Python 3.11.2 which required flashing new memory card with new OctoPrint 1.3.6 . Device is Raspberry pi. even when I reinstalled it does not appear on the Octoprint Gui to use or register and plug in installed.

Same here after update for Python 3.11.2, flashing new memory card for the Raspberry Pi.

Just installed the latest octopi 1.11.5 and restored from backup and the filament manager would not load. I ran the original posters solution and after restarting octoprint, it worked and the filament manager say my spool data from the restored backup.
