Child theme functions.php

Currently, when a child theme is created using the Ollie theme, it doesn't automatically include a functions.php file. This limitation hinders our ability to add custom functionalities directly to child themes. Implementing an auto-generation feature for the functions.php file in child themes would greatly enhance our development process and allow for more efficient customization. I sincerely hope you will consider incorporating this feature in an upcoming update. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Ofcourse i can change the current functions.php but this will be overwritten when you push an update in the theme
