Differentiate invalid moves from failed moves
Was just watching your video with the diplostrats guys and you mention early on that Vale and friends make a lot of invalid moves before figuring out the "one up, down or left" rule.
I think one way to help players with this would be to differentiate orders that are illegal in the game rules (non adjacent regions, non adjacent boards, etc) vs moves that are legal but fail (bounces).
Maybe illegal moves could be the same red colour but failed moves could be a less harsh orange?
