I have the same issue - happens every time I try to use the pandoc plugin

Same here. Additionally, there is no "Export to PDF" option in the Command Palate.

I also get this error intermittently (cannot read null, and missing export to PDF), but it vanishes when I reload the plugin / restart obsidian. Classic heisenbug

I had this error when trying to export a note containing other notes embedded as

[[other-note]]

and the error disappeared when I switched to

![[other-note]]

Turning Internal link processing to Leave unchanged fixed this problem for me.
