Slide to go back doesnt work at times

Reported by oliverzet: On most pages in the app where you have this back arrow "<" in the upper left corner, you can swipe to the right and you get back to the screen before that.

but sometimes this doesn't work and I have to hit the back button. For example in the menu section it works for every entry except for "My circles" And it doesn't work on comments, if you get there through the notification screen
