[Bug]: Database Exception (fireml)

If you enable the database, reload the plugin, and then run /emf journal, the plugin throws an exception.

I am seeing the same thing. The error occurs because the database tables are not created. I tried with a MySQL database, and a brand new SQLite one, both did not create the tables.
