Settings as such:

  • Schedule start 08:00 AM and
  • Schedule end 04:00 AM will lead to 8am-9am till 12pm-1pm being used in schedules.

Scheduling until only 12am (midnight) solves the issue of incorrect end time.

However there are events that require scheduling beyond midnight.
