@sumurthy @LouMM @Zlatkovsky: I'm also interested in this change. Is it possible to review this pull request and perform the merge soon? It'd be very much appreciated, so we can continue using this repository without forking another one (as there are quite a number of forks, apparently).

We are evaluating the security changes at this time. Due to the nature of all security changes and their downstream effects. We are coming up with a strategy to maintain this going forward. There is not enough testing in this area and we want to ensure an action plan is solidified before we move forward.
