Issues with some users when adding groups their list

We have been using this solution for a year now and now are having issues with some users not being able to add new groups to their Contact lookup group app. How do we troubleshoot these issues? it only affects some users not all.

Can you try deleting respective user's favorite DLs from database manually and then ask to add new one from app.

We're having the same issue with a few of our users. How do you delete users from favorite DLs from the database?
