Bring existing Project for the Web project plan into Project Accelerator

Is there a way to import/link an existing project created in Project for the Web to Accelerator? I can’t find a direct way (button) to do this. I also tried exporting the project from Project for the Web and importing it into Accelerator but the format is not supported by Accelerator.
