Opening a Project in Project for the Web Browser Application from non default environment

We have built a Project Management Solution based on Project Accelerator to use with Project for the Web. We have built it in an alternative environment (env-A) to the default one (env-D).

We can use the Powerapps app in env-A and engage with all the functionality including managing the plan in the application using the component ‘PexWebControl’ that comes with the Project Accelerator. However, we cannot open the Project Plan from env-A in the Project for the Web browser application. The project appears in the list of projects in the Project for the Web Browser application, but clicking the link takes you back into PowerApps in env-A, it doesn’t just open the plan in PFTW in browser. The button, ‘Open in Project’ is also missing from our Powerapps app in env-A, when it appears in the Powerapp in the default environment, env-D. If you open a project in Project for the Web that is connected to the Powerapp in env-D, it open in Project for the Web (it does not navigate back to the Powerapp as it does in env-A).

We would like our projects in env-A to open in either Powerapps or Project for the Web so that we can share the plan in Teams etc. Can anyone let us know if this is possible and how to achieve it?
