Not sure what the conflicts are about, but I suspect these are some old files in my fork that somehow got included. Should I abandon this PR and start with a clean fork and recreate all of my source files??
Changed target branch to main, as per @davidchesnut. I swear the contributing guidelines said "dev", but it is clearly correct so not sure what happened or if I saw a different version somewhere.
