Issues with docked ipad

from KP: Player full-screen doesn't seem to work when connected to TV via USB-C dock Outside of full-screen, it does mirror as expected.

Note: it actually becomes dual-monitor mode, which is confusing, because the mouse is now in the ipad (instead of monitor), which I tucked/docked away. First app I encounter that does this, but then again I didn't install many apps.

In what way does the play not work? When I tested it (by mirroring to my Mac), it shows "TV Connected" "This video is playing on the TV". Is this what you mean?

What dual-monitor mode are you referring to?

It works, the "Note:" came later which explains my misunderstanding.

When I tested it (by mirroring to my Mac), it shows "TV Connected" "This video is playing on the TV"

It switches from "mirroring" to "extended mode" when video goes full screen. I'm thinking the app should always mirror, just like the YT ipad app. But it can be argued both ways, I guess.

For my use-case, my ipad is docked behind the TV and I control it with the BT mouse/keyboard like a PC. But when the video is full screen, the mouse is now on the ipad screen (while video is playing on TV), so I don't know what I'm clicking with the mouse.
