Compatibility with Joomla 3.9 privacy suite - Consent Request

Seblod does not seem to be compatible with Consent Request plugin: if enabled, at first user login where user should be redirected to confirm privacy policy results a too many redirect and server error.

Hi guys, I'm having back the same issue. As explained here: https://docs.joomla.org/J3.x:Privacy#Plugins "Once the plugin has been enabled then any new user registering on your site will be required to consent to the Privacy conditions. The date and IP address of the user will be recorded. All existing users will be redirected to their User Profile so that they can consent."

I suppose it is because, when the "System - Privacy Consent" is enabled, the existing user who login, is redirected to his Edit Profile menu link to confirm the Privacy Policy. So, I suppose it is a must:

  • Create a Joomla Edit Profile menu item
  • SEBLOD > Options > Integration > Joomla! User > Profile Menu Item: to select the Joomla Edit Profile menu item

The question is that, right now, is still happening for me, because I still have not integrated both

  • "System - Privacy Consent"
  • "User - Terms and Conditions" plugins to my SEBLOD Registration/Profile edit User Forms & Content Types.

Please, How can we add them into the User Forms & Content Types ? Please, Do you have a fix for it ?

Hi @joomleb , actually I don't know the real state of this issue: I tried for you to enable the Consent Request plugin and simulated a new user registration: this time I got no too many redirects but neither I was not redirected to a form to confirm consent... note that I do not use the Joomla registration form but the Seblod one and we know that has a bug for user profile article creation, with a fix provided by Olivier today... Unfortunately this issue was opened 3 years and a half ago and no feedback was given by Octopoos

Please, @olivier-nolbert Can you confirm if this bug should be solved on last Seblod 4.1.1 ?
