Excalidraw freezes loading

I've noticed whenever this plugin goes on an excalidraw drawing it takes much longer to process. Like a LOT longer.

Same for me -- it seems to take about half a minute per excalidraw file (5 minutes for some files) on my device which stacks up quite fast. Also Obsidian stops reacting to any input during the scan.

A simple solution might be to skip .excalidraw.md files during the scan?

Issue still persists for me as well. The easiest would probably be to just skip excalidraw files. Is there a way how to do it?

I have the same issue, and I have a large amount of excalidraw files... currently, it never finishes scanning, and crashes obsidian after about 10 minutes. Never had this issue till now.. I'd like to be able to specify what folder to scan.
