[botaccess] Bug: adding to server by supporting-role fails

Open CruxCraft opened this issue 2 years ago • 0 comments

Command(s)

  • NA

Description After a member has a supporting-role, they are unable to invite the bot to their server without actually adding it to their personal allowed list (which seems counter intuitive for supporters). Their role is very much added to the allowed list, but the bot just joins and leaves the error message.

Once the user adds their server via [p]botacces add int they may do so, but then they are able to add it to more than the set limit of 1 server. It is not honoring the server limit nor letting them add the bot without extra steps.

Also, after removing the supporting role, the user was still able to add the bot to another server. Currently testing the expired boosting role to make sure it drops out of the servers in 1 hour.

Expected Behavior Once a user has the supporting role, they should be able to add the bot to a quantity of servers that match the set limit, & without extra steps.

The user should not be able to add the bot once they no longer have the supporting role.

There should be separate error messages for not having a supporting-role and reaching the server-limit

Additional Context I have used the refresh command and ran through every setting/command that I see multiple times. Neither server mentioned is in the global list of allowed servers (only the main server and two other ones). Hopefully I am not overlooking something.
