Release channels

We should consider having the following update channels:

  • nightly (released on every commit)
  • beta (released whenever things are ready to test?)
  • stable (released when the build is stable enough?)

I'm not sure if we should actually have a nightly update channel or not. If we would have one, where would we store the binaries? Would we create a bunch of pre-releases on this repo? Wouldn't that kinda be mixed with beta and stable? Maybe we can use tags to organize releases?
