Keyboard shortcuts for "Save", "Save as", "Open" etc.
Describe what problem your feature request solves:
It would make saving much quicker and opening would not require using the mouse but using a known shortcut such as Ctrl+O, which also speeds up things.
Describe the solution you'd like:
I would like to see at least shortcuts for opening and saving a model:
- Open: Ctrl+O
- Save: Ctrl+S
Several clipboard operations (Edit menu) already have a shortcut assigned.
Additional context:
I mean the application main menu:
Hello @exoosh , yes certainly this would be good to have. Are you able to implement the solution as well? All contributions appreciated

I'll give it a shot. Never really worked on Electron apps nor am I a web developer. But I'll give it a try in my spare time (different account: @assarbad).
Is this task still available? If so, I'm ready to get started. Pla assign it to me
@avinxshKD haven't managed to squeeze out the time needed for this (this requires also some a priori research for me), so feel free. And thanks!

Thanks for taking this on @SuYaSh-PaThAk04 , we need to check that this does not interfere with the shortcuts present when editing a diagram, and I need to check that MacOS TD also responds as expected

Thanks for the update and for focusing on those critical checks! @jgadsden
You're absolutely right—it's essential to confirm that our changes do not interfere with the existing diagram editing shortcuts. This is a common pain point in development, and dedicated testing here will save a lot of headaches later. Is there an existing official community (like a forum, Discord, Slack channel, or GitHub Discussions) for the project or the specific diagramming tool where we can connect with other developers and users?
