Abandon Hungarian notation ?

Hungarian notation is not very popular among today's developers. Not clear what the exact plan would be if we go away from it: drop it in all existing code (obviously that would require the conversion process to be automated at > 99.999%), or just in new code (with the danger of having files with mixed conventions which might be worse) ?
I initially hated it but now I've got used to it, the usefulness of the notations is probably fading away due to the new IDEs and to the use of std:: library objects.
I agree that we move away we should probably drop it in all existing code or we will have a confusing mix.
Yes. I have always hated it and continue to do so. Maybe in new code and when significant changes are done to a file then convert the whole file.
