OSDCloud 26.6.2 Not scaling windows properly

Open crashrebootrepeat opened this issue 7 months ago • 1 comments

Describe the bug When I boot into OSDCloud version 25.6.2 the system starts but the powerShell Windows, Wireless connect take up the whole screen and cant start the process.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Create OSD Cloud with 25.6.2 version and configure with -wirelessconnect -clouddriver *
  2. Boot into OSD Cloud
  3. Windows fill the whole screen on Lenovos (have tried 3 different models).

Expected behavior

OSD Cloudd should boot and scale the windows correctly. Auto scaling was working up until this release with no additional drivers needed.

There have been no changes to OSDCloud that will impact resolution. The issue is the models you are using and the drivers that you added to WinPE.

  • Try creating a VM in Hyper-V, you will not have issues which should confirm its driver related.
  • You did not specify the Lenovo models you are using, which doesn't give enough information for others to test
  • Try adding WinPE DriverPacks manually, as -clouddriver doesn't always work and may not be working, but you didn't detail any errors during the build
  • Are these new Lenovo models that just came out? Driver issue.
  • Are these old Lenovo models that are now not working? Driver issue.
