Web - Add icons for user/group ACLs set on items
Use the existing icons for users and groups - this would be very helpful to see where permissions are being set.
Which icons in particular and how would they be added, I'm not sure I understand exactly where they would be made visible. Is this in the Web UI, would they appear next to records and collections in the directory view or somewhere else?
The exact icons don't matter, but being able to view a listing in the web UI and see which records/collections have ACLs set on them would be very helpful. Users may forget that they set sharing permissions and, over time, may not remember unless they happen to open the permissions dialog on each/every item. I think this is an important issue and should be addressed sooner than later.
