Misleading/noisy control mode diagnostics?
There seem to be multiple diagnostics now and the resulting diagnostic might be wrong. If I run actionx/ACTIONX_GCONINJE with master, then I see this:
Report step 20/49 at day 578/1461, date = 01-Aug-2019
Starting time step 0, stepsize 16 days, at day 578/609, date = 01-Aug-2019
Switching injection control mode for group FIELD from NONE to RATE
Switching injection control mode for group FIELD from RATE to VREP
Well WI01 control mode changed from GRUP to RATE
Injection Group FIELD control mode changed from NONE to RATE
With release 2022.10 this was
Starting time step 0, stepsize 16 days, at day 578/609, date = 01-Aug-2019
Well WI01 control mode changed from GRUP to RATE
Injection Group FIELD control mode changed from NONE to VREP
Newton its= 7, linearizations= 8 (0.0sec), linear its=103 (0.0sec)
The latter seems less noisy. Do we really want the "Switching injection control mode for group FIELD ..." diagnostics?
Is "Injection Group FIELD control mode changed from NONE to RATE" actually correct (then I would have expected a "Switching injection control mode for group FIELD from VREO to RATE" before it)?
This is from the standard output of the run
This is possibly related to PR #4235. Maybe @totto82 would like to have a say? I seem to recall discussing this matter before.
