Ubuntu 22.04: Installation and runtime issues
User reports the following when installing ResInsight-octave on Ubuntu 22.04
Here are a few other issues that I picked up as it went through the ResInsight-octave install:
Setting up octave-resinsight (2021.10.3-4~jammy) ...
Setting up ca-certificates-java (20190909) ...
head: cannot open '/etc/ssl/certs/java/cacerts' for reading: No such file or directory
Adding debian:Go_Daddy_Class_2_CA.pem
Setting up tex-common (6.17) ...
update-language: texlive-base not installed and configured, doing nothing!
Setting up libxml-sax-base-perl (1.09-1.1) ...

Thanks for getting back to me. I've gone through the install procedure and got much further now! However, when I try to run ResInsight, I get the following text on the terminal:
ResInsight
Warning: Ignoring XDG_SESSION_TYPE=wayland on Gnome. Use QT_QPA_PLATFORM=wayland to run on Wayland anyway.
Killed
The ResInsight window appears but then freezes and eventually comes up with a message that it is not responding and gives me an option to wait or force kill. The only thing I can do is force a kill.
I very much appreciate your help on this. Hopefully we can get it running soon.
Looks like the installer for Ubuntu is broken. Building ResInsight from source code on Ubuntu 22.04 and running the binary on another Ubuntu 22.04 computer works well, but running the version from the installer just gives a frozen window (and desktop for a while) on startup.

grpc is upgraded in 23.04, will probably solve this issue. https://www.ubuntuupdates.org/package/core/lunar/universe/base/grpc
