Dark background in document editing area

Your idea.

Dear OnlyOffice development team,

I’d like to propose a usability enhancement for the document editor in OnlyOffice. While the dark theme successfully applies to the interface elements, the document editing area retains a light background, which creates high visual contrast and can lead to eye strain during extended use.

I suggest implementing an optional dark background for the editing canvas — similar to what Microsoft Word offers. This feature would not affect the final document output (print or export), but would serve as a visual aid for users working in low-light environments or who prefer a fully dark interface.

Such a feature would significantly improve user comfort and accessibility, and I believe it would be well received by the community.

Hello, @lelocosta! Please specify more specifically what you meant? In the "View" tab, you can apply a "Dark document", then the document editing area will also become dark. Also on the "Layout" tab, you can change the page color via "Page Color".
