PDF Editor - "drawing mode" is not recognized correctly in Safari on iPad

This issue is unique.

  • [x] I have used the search tool and did not find an issue describing my bug.

Operating System of DocumentServer

Linux (DEB package)

Version information

8.3.2.24

Expected Behavior

We are trying to use drawing mode to insert a "signature" into a flat PDF in the PDF editor via the "Comment > Pen" tool in the Safari browser on the iPad.

We think that the "pen" tool should be recognized as a "drawing" tool and not bring up the virtual keyboard every time the stylus touches the tablet.

Actual Behavior

When we work directly with our instance, the virtual keyboard is constantly displayed whenever we try to write something with the stylus. When we try it in the test interface (https://www.onlyoffice.com/see-it-in-action.aspx), it's fine (it looks like keyboard wants to pop up, but it's canceled).

Reproduction Steps

Open PDF Editor in Safari on iPad Use "Comment > Pen" tool with finger/stylus/Apple pencil

Additional information

It seems as if Safari on the iPad doesn't recognize the "drawing mode" in which the "Pen" tool should work, and thinks we're working in "text mode" (i.e. we're clicking in a text field, which is why it shows the keyboard). Or is it perhaps something with the website settings that makes OnlyOffice react differently in the mobile view on the test environment?

OS and browser version: iPadOS 18.5
