Hello @shu0406! Thank you for your request! Please attach your file to help resolve the issue.
@shu0406 thanks for the file! I confirm that there is a problem with the “Date” field when opening in third-party PDF editors (problem with the drop-down list #66505 and problem with incorrect filling of the value #66509 in third-party PDF editors). We recommend using the ONLYOFFICE editor to create and fill out documents with forms. But, if you cannot use ONLYOFFICE editor, use Adobe Acrobat Reader to view pdf files.
Problem reproduces in Document Server.
Now we switched to ONLYOFFICE as PDF viewer in our nextcloud and PDF forms are still not usable. The fields are marked yellow however you can not type anything or choose date or whatever.
I understand the move to PDF as standard format instead of OFORM however in that state it is huge regression, we have lost our complete workflow of sharing forms in our nextcloud instance. Would be great to have the option to choose OFORM as export format again!
OO docs 8.0.1, NC 27.0.6, NC-Connector 8.2.4
@shu0406 Please update the connector to the latest version. This should allow you to fill in PDF forms in Nextcloud.
We've also recently released version 8.1 of Docs which contains further improvements to working with PDF files, but the NC connector version that would support them is not out yet, I'm afraid.
