[Feature] Add Pageless mode to doc editor

Your idea.

Hi!

It would be really great to have Pageless mode — like in Google Docs.

Pageless mode removes/hides page breaks and extends the edges of the document to infinity. Additionally, we can change the background color.

Reasoning: A lot of document work now is digital-exclusive — end documents created with no intent to be printed. In those cases, the concept of "page" makes no sense and only serves as an obstacle in the way of the work.

See the setting in File > Page setup in Google Docs:

I don't really need the "infinite" aspect of the proposal, but the ability to collapse page breaks to fit more text on screen is common in all desktop office suites I tried (MSO, LO, WPS, GDocs) and it's one of the (few) things I still miss in OnlyOffice.

In most of these office suites you can collapse page breaks by double-clicking the space between pages (or click overflow icon that appears on hover over the same area). The content of headers & footers (or whatever the margin areas are called) is collapsed too, so only the body of the page is visible. All space at the end of a page (before new page or end of document) should be collapsed as well.

Hello, @hyuri Thanks for your feedback. A similar offer already exists in our internal system - issue 59340. I have added information about your request. The enhancement is actual in the Document Server.

Any news on this? I've switched to onlyoffice recently and I need this feature.

Pleeeeease I need this so much. This is the ONLY thing keeping me with Google Docs now that they decided to put an @ on every single blank line.

Please please please add this ASAP, I am suffering greatly

Hello, @Bakaba and @cherixberry! Unfortunately, we don't have now any news about this enhancement at the moment. I have added information about your request to issue #59340 and I hope this will speed up the process.

@maruacat I would also want this feature. I can contribute code to add this feature. This is a problem with DocumentServer, specifically the "server" module?
