No lines above and below spaces for KG Primary fonts

Open mike-lloyd03 opened this issue 3 years ago • 3 comments

This issue is unique.

  • [X] I have used the search tool and did not find an issue describing my bug.

Operating System

Linux (DEB package)

Version information

7.1.0.215

Expected Behavior

When using a font which has a non-blank space character (KGPrimaryPenmanshipLined.ttf found here), the space should render the font's non-blank character.

Actual Behavior

Spaces are rendered as blanks.

Below is an image of the same file open in both LibreOffice (left) and OnlyOffice (right). Screenshot_20220716_220010

This is the only font I tested this on.

Reproduction Steps

  1. Install KGPrimaryPenmanshipLined.ttf
  2. Type lines with spaces in them using this font
  3. Spaces are blank instead of the font's space character.

Additional information

I tried this on two computers, one running Ubuntu 22.04 and one running Arch. The results were the same.

Thanks for this issue, something wrong here, not sure that we handle spaces like other symbols

I've created issue 58141 to discuss it with our dev team

Moving this issue to DocumentServer repo, since it's our base product and problem actual there too
