Deleting a comment or creating a comment on a comment clears draft comments
Do you want to request a feature or report a bug? Report a bug.
What is the current behavior? When multiple users are editing the document simultaneously, if one user is creating a comment or a reply to a comment and another user deletes a separate comment, the input field of the draft comment is cleared.
If the current behavior is a bug, please provide the steps to reproduce and if possible a minimal demo of the problem.
- Create a document.
- Open the document with two separate users/windows.
- Place a comment with the first user.
- With the second user, start creating a comment, type some text, but do not submit the comment dialog.
- With the first user, delete the comment created in step 3.
Or:
- Create a document.
- Open the document with two separate users/windows.
- Place a comment with the first user.
- Place another comment with the first user.
- With the second user, start creating a comment on the comment created in step 3, type some text, but do not submit the comment dialog.
- With the first user, delete the comment created in step 4.
What is the expected behavior? The draft comment for the second user stays the way it is.
