Emojis don't show correctly on OpenDocument files
Do you want to request a feature or report a bug?
This is a bug.
What is the current behavior?
When opening an OpenDocument file that includes emojis, they're rendered incorrectly (unintelligible drawings are shown, instead).
If the current behavior is a bug, please provide the steps to reproduce and if possible a minimal demo of the problem.
I'm attaching a test file, that shows the problem immediately when opened.
In order to test manually instead, just create a file with LibreOffice 7.0, with any emoji (I've randomly picked a waving hand), then save, and open with OnlyOffice.
What is the expected behavior?
The emojis should render correctly. Note that if I create a new document with OnlyOffice, and add emojis, they render correctly.
Which versions of DesktopEditors, and which OS are affected by this issue? Did this work in previous versions of DesktopEditors?
I'm using the latest Desktop editor, on Ubuntu 20.04 test_emojis.odt.zip
I can confirm this bug as well.
Hello, @64kramsystem Sorry for the delay in responding. I created ticket 57364 in our private tracker with your issue.
Moving this issue to DocumentServer repo, since it's our base product and problem actual there too
