[Feature] Change page background color
This issue is unique.
- [X] I have used the search tool and did not find an issue describing my idea.
Your idea.
I would like to be able to change the page color from white, to other colors. It's something available in other office softwares, therefore would maximize compatibility too.
Hello, @Lululalu. Thank you for the enhancement. It's known as issue 13246 in our private issue tracker.
This issue actual in Document Server.
Moving this issue to DocumentServer repo, since it's our base product and problem actual there too
Is there any update regarding this? Not having a page colour option is a big disadvantage when comparing ONLYOFFICE to other office suits…
@xavizardKnight Sorry, there is no news
I thought I was going mad trying to find out where this setting was.... Trying to create a set of instructions for personal future use and would like black/dark background with white text.
Any update?

If you want to colour the page, you have some workarounds:
- Add the colour as a watermark image (create an image with any image editor), then go to Layout > Watermark > Custom Watermark and select Image watermark. Note that an image watermark will have its colours washed out, so a pure black image will look like a light gray.
- If your set of instructions is simple enough, you might want to create it as a presentation; in a presentation you have full control of the background of the slides, with a fill colour, gradient, picture, texture, or pattern. The presentation slide background settings are on the top icon of the right sidebar.
- For a last option, you can create a table with one row and one column, make it so it fills the entire page and put your text inside, then colour the cell background and the borders using the options in the second icon on the right sidebar. Although with this, the margins will remain white.

I appreciate you taking your time out to reply and thanks for the tips.
I might just go with setting it up as a presentation, since there's no particular requirement for it to be a "doc"
