What is the expected behavior?
At least, gif animation should be animated. Add video inside the document should be displayed and possibly played with loop option.

Hello, @metal3d. Thank you for your enhancement. We know about this behavior, issue 39319 in our private tracker.
@Rita-Bubnova Hey there. Gifs are still not animated in presentation. Is there any workaround to make this work now ? Thanks
@nicolasGrim, sorry, no workaround.

Any progress on this feature request?
Thanks,
@BatchDrake Sorry, this is quite complicated task, so currently there is no news
Moving this issue to DocumentServer repo, since it's our base product and problem actual there too

please fix gif not play in onlyoffice
I believe this feature is a must have. I hope the team considers this feature as a priority.
Any updates on this? This is a deal breaker for me where I'm often making presentations going over gifs of ultrasound images
+1 from my side - would be really nice to have gifs animated

Sorry, no update. You can contact sales team [email protected] to speed up things.
+1 - this would really visually enhance presentations a lot!
Dear OnlyOffice Team, our site is enterprise user of Onlyoffice.
To have animated GIF's is an important feature especially for how-to presentations. At what release we could expect the implementation?
Best Tim Herrmann
Sorry, currently we have no ETA. If you really need this to be done - please contact sales team to discuss details at [email protected].
Best regard; Desktop editors allow .gif images to be inserted, but their movements are not reproduced (the images remain static), as Microsoft Office and Libre Office do. I am a teacher and I constantly use .gif images in different text documents, spreadsheets and presentations. I appreciate you promptly resolving this error.
we would also really like to see this feature - it's been a couple of years since
+1 yes, this feature would be rly cool please ! We have been waiting for it for a long time ^^
I cannot understand how this "simple" issue couldn't be fixed after years.
What is the problem?
Is there any way to at least bundle a gif to mkv converter internally? Not the greatest solution, of course. But better than nothing.
