Currently, I can't do anything while the document is saving. It would be great if it is just a progress bar, especially for people who saves a document a lot.

Because I don't think it's a good idea to allow document modification while it in process of saving, it may result in conflicts

It could maybe show a progress bar just below the headerbar like this one from GNOME Text Editor

It could block saving again while there is a current saving process to prevent conflicts.
