Keep a limited set of historic vocabulary versions for browsing and download

Open mik-ohdsi opened this issue 3 years ago • 0 comments

Today Athena has no defined vocabulary release cycle and smaller as well as larger changes are carried out when needed or applicable. Introducing storage of a limited number of vocabulary versions in separate schemas at the Athena vocabulary server as well as the ability to switch between these versions would help users to allocate a historic version that is in use with fellow researchers so that a network can align on one vocabulary version. One of these versions could also be a QC version (browsable but not allowed for download) that is moved to a stable / production version once a final QC step has been performed. Additional future benefits could be to be able to compare multiple versions with something like the Tantalus tool. grafik

A "scope of capabilities" document can be provided for this on request.
