Create a way to test a post without actually saving the data

It would be nice to be able to send a few test points to a site from the logger to make sure everything is going to work before deploying it without actually keeping the data.

I'm not quite sure the best way to do this because a large part of the point of doing a test post in the lab would be to make sure all the UUID's have been copied in correctly. That is.. you want the test post to be sent exactly like a real post would be in all ways except the data values.
